Morgan Ward is a young professional from Milford, New Jersey. She works out of her family’s Willow Brook Farm in Pittstown, New Jersey and Morlynn Farm, based in Ocala, Florida during the winter months and Oldwick, New Jersey during the summer. She inherited the equestrian genes from her mother Kim. They train hunters, jumpers and ponies. Morgan’s sister Lindsey rides as an amateur and her father and brother are both farriers.
Morgan turned pro in 2015 after a distinguished junior career including top finishes at USHJA International Derby Finals, major equitation finals, Junior Hunter Finals and Pony Finals under the tutelage of top trainers such as Emil Spadone, Andre Dignelli, Patricia Griffith, Scott Stewart, Ken Berkley and Eamonn Hughes. She was selected and competed at the FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships.
She recognized that her ambitions were aligned with the family business. Though she was offered college scholarships, Morgan opted to enroll at the University of Phoenix. Their online format gave her more time for training and competing.
Morgan has shown her prowess in the show ring with wins and championships in the hunters and jumpers at major shows such as Vermont Summer Festival, Monmouth at the Team and HITS Saugerties and Ocala. She has notched multiple championships in the 1.30m Jumpers, the High Performance Hunters along with winning the Grand Prix at World Equestrian Center (Ohio) in October.
Morgan has a lovely string of horses, a fantastic group of clients and an amazing support system to help her achieve success.
